Sorry if the title was kinda shocking... It's just me.

So yeah I'm back!! Finally!! After all of that nasty one whole month of torture, I finally get my peace of mind... And honestly, SPM wasn't as bad as it sounded in the first place. Unfortunately, it was boring and, well, lengthy... =.=

But that doesn't really bother me right now...

RIGHT back to my after SPM plans!! Guess what? I'm leaving for Genting TOMORROW!!! Yeap!! I'll be there together with my awesome friends: Kew Hon, Edward, Yee Yang, Gavin, Chia Yung, Bernard, Hui Li, Yee Shuen, Tze Yan, Lisa and Alena... :DD

And RIGHT after that, I'll also be leaving for OSAKA JAPAN!!!!! :D

I really hope I can get lots of good shots out of these trips... :O

Lastly, since SPM is over, it's time for me to think about my future... Currently, I'm really messed up: at first all I thought was just a typical A-Levels then study abroad in UK... Then comes the idea of taking foundations in Marine Engineering in Australia... But now everything just got cracked up and I have simply no idea of what's in store for me...

It's just like every single option has too much cons... And everything just got jammed back one step...

Its just so frustrating...

Hope God can enlighten my eyes to see what I really should go for...

WELL that's all basically... Not much to say after all... So ciaos!!

Life with A Month

to SPM, that is.

Right now everything is just one. It's like the only thing I'm holding now is a one-buttoned remote which says "fast-forward"...

I mean, we form 5's just finished our PPPA trial exams just like today, and tomorrow we're off for a week... A WEEK... I haven't even get back most of my papers for my previous trials... :( And it's the same for all of us fifth-formers...

And I ought to tell you...

Well, I was about to say "It's a hell of a ride" or "There ain't no fun in my vocab now", but all that floods into my mind is

SPM

Timer: 45 days 7 hours 42 minutes and 34 seconds...

By the time you read this, it's waaaay lesser than that...

After PMR hols, there's graduation, then yet ANOTHER week of Deepavali hols, two days of Hari Raya Korban hols, and it's D-Day...

Quick update (even though most of us fifth-formers knew already): This year, our school's graduation day is gonna be in Chee Wen Jeffrey Cheah Complex Hall... And yes, that's my primary school...

Ironically, 5 years ago, I didn't get to have my graduation in that hall (they were still constructing even after we left), and right now I finally get to have my high school graduation in it... =.=

I suppose this will be my last post before my SPM... Won't hear from me till 7 December... So, don't forget to include me in your prayers...

Life With Needs

When I was around 5 or 6-years old, I had an exercise book, well, those kind of activity books filled with colouring, crosswords and linking dots pages...

And there's one particular crossword which I remembered up to this day. It had a hippo picture on top of it and it asked me to search for the basic needs of living things.

So I asked my cousin about it, since I was still young and I don't even know science...

We all know the answers to those are air, water and food, right?

"Bathe. Every living thing needs to bathe...", my cousin answered aptly.

About a decade later, I no longer think that any human can live on just these things (including bathing) anymore. We all know that. As we all grow up and out into the world of adults, we realized that life is not just merely what we learn from primary school science.

It's us.

In our lives, we need so many other things to keep us alive, to keep us humane. Some may say that we need to have dreams, set goals for our future, motivate our hearts to redefine the impossibles. Some say we need our own set of skills, wisdom, our identity, so that we can face the world and live on with the rest.

I think, we all need love.

And no, I'm not a despo. I remembered a story about an experiment to test the importance of love in newborns' growth. They splited up two groups of infants, and provided them with the same nutrition and living conditions. What's different is one group gets a hug and a kiss to the cheek everyday, while the other group doesn't.

Turns out, after a few weeks, the infants without the regular hugs and kisses face stunt growth, while the other group lives healthily. The babies are then returned to their respective mothers before the babies lacking hugs and kisses become dwarfs...

But ultimately, we all need the love of God. The thing is, God loved us before we even were born. I don't know what you think about God, but He sent His one and only Son to earth just to die for us. If you find this hard to portray, just imagine this. It's just like you deciding to trade away your mother or father for someone's, perhaps even a stranger's mistake.

If anyone boasts, "I love God," and goes right on hating his brother or sister, thinking nothing of it, he is a liar. If he won't love the person he can see, how can he love the God he can't see? (1 John 4:20)

That's what keeps me going on everyday, knowing that God loves me, it became my need. Accepting the love of God is definitely a need for not just the human life we have right now, but also the eternal life God promised us in heaven.

Life With Leaving The Board

This is written by me, but it was meant for the school's website...

If you don't know yet, the school HAS a website, and there I'm part of the Website Team... We believe we can rebuild the broken pieces of the website from the past years... :)

Here it goes:

“Sekarang dijemput Pn Lim Saw Bee untuk Majlis Perlantikan Pengawas Sesi 2011/2012,” Pn Shirley spoke into the microphone on a chilly morning of 25th of July, 2011.

The whole atmosphere is filled with dread and sadness when the whole ceremony began.

We as the 2010/2011 AJKs lined up at the side of the stage as we witnessed a march by the prefects, led by Mohammad Faidhi. The prefects who consist of Form 3 and Form 4 prefects all marched their hearts out as a last gratitude towards the seniors.

Our 2010/2011 Head Prefect, Tan Jia Rou then recited her last speech. The crowd of students and teachers fell silent as she expressed her gratitude towards her fellow comrades. Jia Rou mentioned that her time working with the board will be a everlasting memory. She also congratulated the new board of prefects.

As her speech went on, she and the 2010/2011 board presented the prefect teachers, Pn Lim Saw Bee, Pn Noriza P. P. Abdul Majeed, and Penolong Kanan HEM, Pn Teo Boon Hwa a token of appreciation for their dedication and hard work.

Then, the unexpected moment came. After her speech, Jia Rou positioned herself in the middle of the stage and bowed towards the teachers, then faced the students, and bowed to them too. Everyone went wild as she took them by surprise, giving her a grand round of applause.

As the ceremony continued, our dear Headmistress of SMK USJ 12, Pn Zaharah binti Ishak had her speech. She said the prefects play an important role in helping the teachers to maintain the welfare of the school. Thus, she was grateful for the Prefect Board of Session 2010/2011 who served tirelessly for a quality discipline school.

The signing of the credential of the prefect board by Pn Zaharah and Pn Teo followed shortly after the speech.

After the signing of the credential, we Prefect Board of 2010/2011 and the new Board went up on stage in unison, followed by us handling the new board’s letter of appointment to them one by one. It was very emotional for each and every one of us as we gave the folder containing the letter of appointment and our tags to the newly elected board.

The ceremony ended with a speech from the new Head Prefect Session 2011/2012, Natalie Yap Li-Lynn. She broke down at the sight of seeing us, but calmed herself down before she began her speech. She expressed her gratitude to the school and the Session 2010/2011 Prefect Board for electing her as Head Prefect. She also hoped that the Prefect Board will work as a team and synergize in carrying out their responsibility as the Prefect Board Session 2011/2012.

In overall, this is one of the most emotional moments for the Prefect Board’s history. I hope, no, I should say, trust in all of them that they can “Synergize To Visualize”, bringing the Prefect Board to a whole new level and rise above all the previous seniors.

Life Without Enemies

Today I went through my note book that I've been using since form 1... And found out something...

I saw a page, written on it the black and white face says "Home Project: List of 'Enemies' "

I never remembered this page, simply because I didn't see it for a very long time...

And somehow I wrote there:

"It was said in Matthew 5:44:

'But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.'

So, I will make up a list of 'enemies' I have, to love, bless, do good, and pray for them."

And at the bottom of it I wrote three names...

Then I realized what a fool I was...

Because two out of the three names there are right now my close friends!!

Well, I didn't get to seethe third one any longer, he went to some other school...

I was like, ISN'T IT AMAZING? The two person I used to hate and despise the most when I was form 2, are now close friends of mine... :)

So, moral lesson learnt: LOVE YOUR ENEMIES!!! :D

Life With Less, But More

This is a mini one-paragraphed essay which we all did in class. The title is Less But More, it's taken from the Oxbridge competition's title, I guess... The time given for us was 5 minutes...

The passageway of the underground subway is flooded with androids of people, rushing in and out of shuttles, up and down the escalators. It's Christmas Eve but the entire subway is filled with moody and dreadful faces.

Except for a little corner, lies a little red box with 'Donations for Orphanage' at it's front and a tiny Santa hat decorating it.

Even so, passerby's stingily glimpse at the little red box and never even thought of digging out their pockets.

Then, comes a young girl in ragged, filthy clothes. She stood in front of the box, took out her only penny from her pocket and popped it into the tiny opening of the box.

She smiled, because she knew her penny may be less, but meant more for the kids in the orphanage.

Life With Ordinary Objects

HEYA PEEPS!!!

Recently, I just got really random at random times. And guess what, I started to have my little project called "Between My Four Walls".

It's an album of all the insignificant things in my room that has a story, or history in them... Some don't really worth a lot in money, but I see them everyday and they all --- like i said --- has a story.

I will constantly post photos onto the album in Facebook...

Here's a sneak peek of what I got so far...

Oh yea, I just watched TRANSFORMERS 3!!!! It was really exhilarating, but there are some parts which are kinda awkward and illogical...

There's one part where the whole glass building was already slanting sideways, but everyone inside was still standing straight and firm... They only fall when the Decepticon strike the building again... Doesn't make sense right?

Nevermind.

Life With Prayer

DO YOU KNOW THE POWER OF PRAYER?

Maybe you don't. Nevermind then.

But I want to share with you what I think about it.

How about a story? Okay, once upon a time...

LOL okay here's the real one. One day, I was in school doing work at the last 10 minutes of school. Well, some work that you're not supposed to know...

Then the bell rang, and I haven't pack up my bag yet!! And it's in the class and the class is going to be locked!!

I rushed back up to third-floor class, just to find out that the classes had already been locked...

I look around just to find Jonathan Ooi about to take back the box keys down to Pn Teo's room... So I asked him to open the door so that I can get my bag...

After packing, I rushed to the back exit where Joey's mum usually wait... And suddenly remembered that the back gate closes usually at a very early time...

FYI the door is supposed to close at 1:30pm, but some prefects will lock it up earlier around 1:20pm if there are no longer any students exiting... And if the gate's locked, I have to use the front gate and walk all the way to the back of the school. Nobody wants that.

It's 1:25pm.

Panicking, I said a very brief but desperate prayer... God, I pray that for whoever that is taking care of the back gate, just let it be open even though I'm late, that the prefect will be patiently waiting there for other students to pass...

When I reached the back gate, I saw a patiently waiting Stephanie See sitting on the stairs making origami for her teachers...

You see? That is the power of prayer... Whenever we needed help, we can always turn to God and rely on Him, because "With men this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26)

By the way, this event happened about three weeks ago. But I remembered about it when I saw the origami Stephanie made on Pn Noriza's table... That's why I think I should share this...

Before I further go on... I FINALLY CHANGED THE HEADER FOR MY BLOG!!!!!

Okay, I know it's not that great... In fact it was not as good as I planned it should be, but at least a little change of the skin should be good...

I'm starting to miss my old skin...

AND I'M STARTING TO MISS CF CAMP TOO!!!!

SMK SJ and SMK USJ 12 CFs' SHINE Camp was totally awesome!!! Everyone is moved greatly by God... And I hope all of us can shine for God...

And not to forget, I totally miss all the SJ friends!!! You guys were really great and friendly... It's like we were a family together... :D

I really want to appreciate all the committees hard effort, our friendly and fun Pastor Andy, and also all my friends in camp...

Oh yea, before I forget, I'm gonna learn how to play a guitar soon... Well, an acoustic guitar... :D

David, if you see this, no, I don't want "macho" hands... Hahaha... :P

I know perhaps I said it a million times, but the feeling of it is like as though I just joined high school just yesterday... But in a flash, Swoosh!! and now here I am, waiting for the SPM bells to ring my "death"...

But everyone grows up, and this all will eventually pass, and all we can do is look back at those fond memories embedded in old photographs...

Or maybe facebook albums... LOL...

It doesn't matter, actually... It's just whether we can grab hold onto the velocity of life, and subscribe to the things happening around us...

Life with a Healer

Before I go on, FYI for the CF Camp 2011 SMK USJ 12/SJ, I'm going to be worship lead one of the sessions... :)

Today was really A DAY... Here's the brief overlook...

In the morning, I joined Esther, Adam, Lih Wern, Daniel, Basyir and Avril for choir practice... For teachers' day...

Followed on later, I followed Esther and Avril, together with Timothy and Tee for lunch in McD, Taipan... And we discussed about which songs to play for CF Camp... And I just couldn't find that extra one praise song...

After that, we went to Tutti Frutti and continued discussing... That's when Esther and Avril wanted to join me for youth at HPA...

And Esther knowing that I'm searching for another song, suggested me to listen out for songs during youth...

In youth, something struck me...

Joe was preaching about being an impact to other people... And he mentioned about worship...

"What is worship?", he asked...

Worship is glorifying God, it's a time dedicated for Him and it's the easiest way to connect to God... I said...

Worship is basically the time we connect directly to God and glorify not man, but God...

We don't choose songs for worship just because it's cool or great... Like we don't play Switchfoot songs just because they just had their concert here... We choose the songs just because we want to glorify His name...

When he said all of that, I was like, Whoa... Isn't God amazing? God is trying to tell me something here... It's definitely nothing about coincidence here... That was like the bet thing that happened to me today...

Bu happens next is something unexpected... When I got home, I took a nap... After that, when I woke up, my eyes were swelling and my stomach's not feeling well... I got diaorhrea and I couldn't stop crying due to the swell...

And the only song which came to mind is Healer...

I really believe that God can heal all my disease...

And He is right now!! I'm starting to feel a lot better now...

I know, this post looks weird because of my half-broken story and language... But I post this because I want to share to you guys, that all things is possible with God...

Life With Labour Day

HELLO HELLO EVERYBODY!!!!!

As you know, it's Labour Day today... May 1st...

And since it falls on a Sunday, it means TOMORROW IS HOLIDAY TOO!!!!

Anyways, back to Labour Day... This morning, I went to church... And it turns out that many people are still faithful to God even though it's a "lazy day" for people...

I had to walk back home from church... And along the way, I realized that the shops and streets are very much dead...

Even the futsal court and playground that used to be occupied by people at any time, are empty too...

This makes me feel like singing the song "Empty" by The Click Five...

Anyway, again, I hope everyone will have a great time lazing around and have a good rest...

Ok, first things first. From this post onwards, I'm going to start a title with the words "Life With"... You know, since this blog is Life With A Hoe...

So, life with memories... I'm talking here about the whole photoshoot session actually...

What makes photoshoot and photographs of us so memorable is that each face, each gesture, each laughter, you know you'll miss it a lot when you leave school... A photo takes all of those in...

We just had photoshoot... Well not exactly just, we had our class photo weeks ago...

But today was like for badan uniform, clubs and squads... Even hometeams...

And I was taken 3 times today...

And tomorrow will be another for prefect ajks...

And another next week...

A few things happened today...

Start with Hari Anugerah Cemerlang (Awards Day)... The day started off for me with marching... Thank God that all went through all right, even though it's just a small routine... And again, special thanks to Lukman for the never-failing commitment in this event...

I got Anugerah Sijil Pengetua, which means I got a average grade point of 1.50 or below...

And yes, there is no fancy red hard-cover for everone this year, just the form 3 and form 5's only... Heard all of you complaining about it on facebook...

Alright, next up in the afternoon is auditions for Subang Rally 2011...

The blog is in the process of updating, anyway... And the above pic is last year's rally...

The auditions for the Subang Rally today was great... The presence of God is definitely among us when all of us performed and worshiped Him with skills beyond our capabilities without us realizing...

And the impromptu "How Great Is Our God" just now, He's definitely in us...

Really had a great time knowing more friends who dedicate their lives towards serving God... I got a feeling that this year's Rally is going to be extraordinary...

And of course, I want in...

Yes, it's April fool and we all love it, one way or another...

Friends pulling jokes like "Hey, your shoelaces' untied" or "Hey, your zipper's open" and stuff like that...

And for your information, I got tricked with the shoelace one twice, when I'm in sport shoes...

But the best part of it is that nobody cares about it... Nobody gets annoyed or offended because it's the only day in the year that lies and jokes are legal...

Anyway, lying is a sin.

That's why I chose not to trick anybody this year...

In fact, come to think about it, I never trick anyone last year too...

I seldom blog... But here am I, the fiftieth blog post!!!

First things first, I still have to sit for exam even though you guys already finished your exams... That's only because of mssd... The subjects I'm resiting: Moral, English, Maths...

Next, I just came back from Prefect Internal Camp 2011!!! It felt awesome being a facilitator... Seeing how the new probates having a very good potential to be a leader...

To the camp participants, I'm really sorry if I hurt anybody's feelings, but I'm still glad that you guys can pull it through...

Back to me.

I just realized that I have not read any fiction books for quite a long time... I just went to BookXcess yesterday at Amcorp Mall, got a few books before the senses come to me that I must regain my interest of reading...

So I planned, this holidays, I must read at least 2 books, and it doesn't matter what kind of books... Fictional, non-fiction, magazines, motivational, anything... I'm just afraid of losing the self I used to be...

Disappoinment and Relief

Never once I got so many successive failures at one go...

First, I didn't get through the audition round for Roland Piano Festival...

Second comes MSSS swimming... I didn't get any medals...

Thirdly, I didn't get any medal... or even top 20 for my school's cross country...

And it all happened so fast... One in a day... Non-stop for three continuous days since Thursday...

After all of that, I really feel like punching myself...

I thought whether crying would help... well of course it doesn't...

Then I really hope that it was just a dream...

"It was only just a dream......"

Enough for Nelly... I never liked that song anyway...

But then after attending youth in the afternoon... Peter showed us a video... (Thanks Peter!!)

I suddenly thought that what I am facing right now is very much nothing... I mean, people outside are facing life or death situations, complications, but still fighting with all their might and strong-will... Unlike what I'm facing now... Mine was merely nothing compared to theirs...

Isn't God awesome in His own ways? He showed His people the solution of comfort through other people in different ways to touch people's lives...

Alright enough of all of this disappointment stuff... WE SHOULD NOT TALK ABOUT BAD STUFF FROM THE PAST...

Oh yea... my mom just showed us some skills on predicting people's future using their palms... Even though she doesn't believe in it...

Well, neither of us believe in it... But my brother who wants to use the computer said to my mom:

"You have a very good son, and he will have a bright future if you let him use the computer tonight..."

LAME RIGHT?

I never have a taste for these crap, but for once, I noticed what my mom call "Career Path" line on my right palm... It seems like a little "broken" in the middle of the path...

Perhaps that's me now, lost in a wide possibility of career and education... I still haven't really decided which path am I gonna go... I'm at the mere of deciding which highway to go at an intersection point... It's all again the confusion and feeling of hopelessness in my life...

Well somehow I hope God will show me a way... The path that I'm supposed to walk...

Reunion dinners before Chinese New Year are supposed to be warm and great, right? Imagine all the different types of dishes laying on top of the dinning table, and you get to eat together with your family and stuff...

But here in my kampung, there's only one dish: POPPIAH

Sorry if I don't have any pics for you right now... Will try to get one next time...

But my family here have a unique way of eating poppiah...

Usually the poppiah we get at stalls are thin and long... And usually cut...

Over here, it's FAT.

The reason is because in the past, our family used to be poor, so my grandma will urge my dad and his siblings to eat poppiah with a lot of fillings, just to use less crust...

Till now, I can still see my dad and uncles and aunts to stuff a lot of veggies in their poppiah, as though the crust might break any moment, then eat it using the FULL SUPPORT of their hands (because the fillings can just burst out the poppiah anytime...)

And if you realized what I wrote up there, I said usually people eat together with their family. I actually mean the whole family... But here we eat at different time, it's just because the table is too small to fit everyone at the same time...

Will find something else to write about CNY...

BTW I'm at Watak dan Perwatakan for my buku skrap bm...

And my relatives say I have super small and neat handwriting...

Two days ago when I was in Cheras having a swimming competition, the weather is super, duper hot... Then I was hoping that at least some rain would come... I was hoping for a heavy rain...

Then there's yesterday... The whole day, ever since morning, it has been wet in Subang... not really a heavy rain, but drizzling... the weirdest part is it never stops...

I wondered is it just in Subang area?? The answer: NO!!! Later in the evening I followed my parents to the IT Fair in Megamall... And it's also drizzling there!!!

The moral lesson of the story... BE CAREFUL OF WHAT YOU WISH FOR!!!

I can imagine kids hearing this will go like "Argh!! Mummy!! I'm so scared... I didn't mean to beg from you an x-box..."

The boy isn't scared because he doesn't get what I mean...

I know, it's lame...

Anyway, it's the end of the first month of the year... But I have this obsession of the song Back to December by Taylor Swift... Just so nice...

Cina New Year

The year of the rabbit is here and everybody sure many sets of new t-shirts and jeans to wear to usher in the new year...

But I decided to keep it low this year... :) I only have a shirt, three t-shirts and a pair of short pants... WHITE short pants... (Isn't that cool?) AND I don't have a single red on it!!

That's before my mum bought extra two shirts for me, both red...

Well I guess it may come in handy. Anyway the Roland Piano Competition Audition is finally TOMORROW!!! I'm so freaking nervous... So many months of practice and effort comes down to this day...

It's here... PJ Live Arts Theatre... at Jaya One...

Pray that God will help me through this audition... I really want to enter the finals...

Other than that, I still haven't start my novel buku skrap... Interlok...

Well that was exactly what I thought when I was announced as the captain.

But people trusted me!! That's why!!

Perhaps I need to get it through and know that sometimes not all things will go our way. It's after all better to fail now than later... And through it, we'll get stronger.

If you guys dunno anything I've said, it's just about today's home training and... I kinda suck being a leader... :( I actually asked teacher almost everything and did mostly nothing... And my friends are startin to hate me...

Ughh!!!

But I really hope it'll after all make me a better person...

New year is here, but the sensation of humming Christmas songs in my head still haven't cease... Especially O Holy Night and 12 Days... But I don't really like 12 Days... I mean it's just repeating lyrics all over and over again...

Anyway the new year is here and there are a few things that are gonna come...

First there is my piano competition... I mean, after 2 months plus of work, I can't just give up. I really hope that I can get to he finals...

Then there's swimming competitions... Well, swimming is not exactly m favourite, but its going to be the last year I'm joining swimming, and after that, I'm gonna leave swimming for good... *Sobs*

School's gonna reopen, and I don't know what to feel... Excited? Anxious? Nervous? Well, there's definitely goin to be double the work from form 4, but perhaps I should try to get rid of my bad habits... Like, not completing my work, laziness, forgetfulness and etc...

Perhaps I should make a new year resolution as a start...

And BTW, I read finish Deathly Hallows!!!

I know, some of you surely will go like, "Tsk tsk tsk... So long ago people also read already lo... Book also collect dust...", "Aiyo people also watch the movie already lar..." and stuff...

But the ending was nice... When Harry have kids...

Two days ago during my piano class, my teacher told me that she have bad news... Omg, did I just heard bad news?

And bad news it is. She can't help me enroll for Yamaha practical grade 5 exam!! :( The Yamaha authorities are tightening their regulations and are strict in making sure that private teachers can't register exams for students... In other words, I have two choices:

1. Take group classes back again and have a different teacher
2. Don't take the exam at all

But I don't know how the teacher will turn out to be... I mean, he or she might not be a good teacher, then who knows, I might fail the exam!!! Omg!!!

Currently she is finding a good teacher to teach me, but most of them have their classes full... I guess only time can tell...

Oh yeah, if you didn't know I'm actually preparing for a coming piano competition, it's called Roland Piano Festival 2011 and the auditions are in January. I'm still preparing the song, perfecting it, but I really hope that I'm able to pull it off...

PREFECT'S NIGHT 2010

Hey peeps!!! Yesterday was Prefect's Annual Dinner, and it was really a fun night to remember!!!

The event started with an opening performance by Sharon, Stephanie and Lukman... I Love Rock And Roll!!! And we form 4s danced along!!! Was really glad that the whole crowd was pleased... Thank you Min Ling for the choreographing!!!

Then there's the Breakout play!! Was happy to see everyone laughing during the play!!! Again, thanks to our very dedicated head prefect Jia Rou for the directing and audio mixing... Way to go DJ Rou!!!

And thanks to "Tan Sri" Jefferd for the props and hard work and effort in making this play a success, Albert for sacrificing so much to do one of the scenes (Albert I think you know what I mean), Eugene for the really good last minute recovery.

And not to forget, thanks to Shi-Yi for lending the Afro wig and Yee Shean for the glass of water before the whistling act!!

Have I forgotten to tell you that the girls danced awesomely yesterday? Min Ling, Ariel, Denice, Denise, Dianne, Hou Yi, Carmen, Shi-Yi, you girls rock the stage yesterday!! (even though I may not see everyone dancing, but I still can see some of you and judge from the clapping from the audience) The event needs nobody nobody but you girls to turn the heat up!!

The whole night is FULL of performances. Sorry, it should be FULL OF AMAZING PERFORMANCES!!! Afiq, Muayyad, Lukman, Sharon, Stephanie, Dimitri, Shevaani and Subashini really made the whole night memorable, you guys are AWESOME!!!!

AWARDS!!! Jia Rou really deserved to get the Prefect of The Year, and same to Albert and Faidhi in Rookie of The Year!! Afiq really proofed everyone the reason he got the Most Versatile in his multi-talented personality, Ong also showed why we can always trust him in Most Trustworthy, and Jefferd was undoubtedly the Most Sanguine when he Emcee-ed the night...

Oh yeah, I wore contact lens yesterday!! It was the first time I used it over a long time... AND I <3 IT!!! My eyes miraculously didn't turn red like I used to, and it felt great!! Who knows, perhaps contact lens would be a very useful friend to me...

You see? Prefects are just awesome!! If you're not a prefect, try your best to become one, it will sure pay off!!

It's okay, it's jut me acting stupid again... But then I really hate exams at times... Super stressful. Brings tons of unwanted problems...

And I'm losing a lot of hair everyday for now... :(

Anyway, exams are over and I'm free to do whatever I wanted...

I still haven't decided where to work though... Some of my friends are already starting to get their pay while I'm literally doing nothing... Freaking useless... Anyway thanks to you guys who commented on my facebook post!!

Oh yeah, tomorrow's John and Joleen's wedding!! If you both see this, just wanna wish you both a happy marriage and sweet memories to come!!!

Before I forget, I think I should start wrapping the text books because I have to return them this Monday. Can't imagine these books which are with me the whole year have to leave... Later I cannot refer... No la... Just kidding, of course I can with such thing called reference books!!

And yes, prefect's night is coming next Friday and I haven't got myself a suitable hat!! I actually plan to find for a newsboy cap, but then it's either:
i) I can't find it
ii) it's too small for my head

I actually tried to search the whole sunway pyramid, but then very hard to find a big newsboy cap...

And I have less than a week to find one... Gosh...

Sometimes I thought about how God created the earth...

My pastor just said about the book of Genesis and how the earth is made about... And also on whether we believe in the process... Then he talked about people and scientists with the theory of the big bang... But he urge us on having faith in word is written in the bible...

I actually thought this before. So which is the right theory?

In my opinion, both.

In genesis, it says 'Then God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.'. Perhaps this is the so called "big bang". Isn't it cool?

You don't get me, do you?

Nevermind.

Oh yeah, today during swimming training, my coach vandalize my arm joints with flexibility training... Freaking pain...

This coming week, I keep telling myself to study... I've been left out very far from the current syllabus, and I definitely don't want a FAIL for physics, biology, chemistry, etc etc...

Hope I'll catch up with studies...

Extra History classes by Pn Teo. Great...

That was my first thought yesterday when I heard about it. But I changed my mind today.

This morning, Pn Teo really was great in teaching history. It's not like normal history classes when people always sleep...zzZZ

Thanks to her dedication, most of the chapter 9 and 10 is sucked into my brain... Oh yeah, by the way, she is not our history teacher, but she is willing to teach our class. Awesome right?

Change the topic now. I feel like I'm getting the hang on swimming after not training for one month plus... I think I'm gonna stick to swimming more often...

Last but not least, ALL THE BEST TO ALL PMR CONTENDERS!!!!!! Hope you all will get a streak of As and wear them like a necklace full of shiny gems... Just remember, it's not as hard as you think!!

Braces??

This is my second day in kampung... Nothing much actually happened here, except that I ate in the same seafood restaurant twice and I got a stomach ache...

It came to one point when I sat next to one of my cousin brother, who is older than me by a year.

And my big elder cousin sister who is working as a teacher, realized that my cousin brother has very neat set of teeth... as though he actually wore braces before.

But she pointed out that mine's crooked...

Actually, she's not the first one to point it out. My mom asked me before on whether I want to put braces on.

Yucks...

But it's not a bad idea, considering the outcome... I won't have my rabbit teeth anymore...

But people always think people with braces are nerds... That's the only thing I dislike.

Anyway, I'm a newbie to braces and dental stuff... So if any of you have any suggestions or advices, feel free to voice it out.

First of all, a very happy Hari Raya to all my Malay friends!!! Hope you guys have a lot of duit raya...

Now back to me. The reason why I put a question mark behind the title is to emphasize the word 'selamat'...

Thank God for a safe journey from Subang to Pantai Remis... If you guys don't know where's that, it is in Perak and it's my dad's hometown...

But I really hope that the same goes to all my friends, whether Malay, Chinese, Indian or any other races... A crash to the car would be the last thing anybody wants when balik kampung...

So to all you peeps who will balik kampung or travel back... Please remind your dad/mum not to speed... I really don't want to lose any of you...

Whatever. And yesterday's reunion dinner at Wey Hwang's house was freaking fun!!! Patrick was so pro at running his fingers through his electric guitar, while Wey Hwang was pro at his drums... They really tore the whole house down.

And Carmen was so obsessed with Korean dramas...

And we played a game... The Killer I guess... I was so nervous when I got small killer... Really sorry for killing Carmen, Ariel, Ong and Jia Cheng...

I know this is definitely not the first time I mention about holidays in this blog...

But I just feel that every holiday period has been very uneventful for me. I mean, what else I have done in the June holidays other than sleep and facebooking?

But I've decided to make this holiday much more meaningful and bizarre.

I'm gonna play futsal with my classmates tomorrow. Well, that's a good start.

Another thing I had planned ever since last year is.... Not wearing my specs for a day or two. It's not that I'm gonna wear contacts... Just trying to improve my poor eyesight that has been getting worse recently...

And I have another plan... But it's really kinda a secret, so I can't tell in the public... You can ask me through chat.

Oh yeah, not to forget I have tones of work... Especially from Chinese class... Urgh!!!

There's No Power and Control...

I have no idea, but I thought of sharing this to you guys. It's about this episode of teen titans I watched when I was young (around standard 6 I guess).

The story goes like this... There's this guy who used to be in military, but he was mutated by the government in their efforts to make the perfect army. But in the end, the guy turned radioactive and can shoot slime/shine/expel radioactive goo and stuff like that.

Then, everyday, he has to "excrete" his radioactive substance into the river because he cannot withstand it.

Then the teen titans came and realized that those excreted goo has turned into a monster which is alive and dangerous.

Then Starlight (I guess this is the right spelling) found out this guy's situation, and she talked to him about controlling his power. She said, "You cannot force and prevent your powers, but once you made it part of you, you can have full control of it."

Then Starlight squeezed her fist trying to squeeze her green shining power aura (I have no other words to describe). The shining light come bursting through her hands as though trying to escape. She relaxed a little, and easily tamed the power and have full control over it.

I know this is lame and you guys are wondering why I even watched teen titans... I think this is inspirational. It portraits on nowadays people's desire and thirst for power and control, while they didn't know forcing will only lead to losing of power...

People should've known that we cannot just "control" others just because he or she is under them. Only when they give others a chance and perhaps a little freedom, then only others will be useful to them.

Only God can control everything. And normal people like you and I can only control our temper. Not humans.

Sometimes parents try to control their kids, trying to box them from doing anything they like, just because it's wrong. But for once, did they realize the reason why their children made the wrong decision in the first place?

Power and control is the reason why kids are so repulsive nowadays. And it is only whether the society realize before it's too late.

I know I don't usually post two posts in one day, but I think this is something important that I would like to share.

Please don't talk about this in school. I never watch the show for years. I don't even think I got the story right.

Phwam!!!

All of us heard that today, both morning and afternoon sessions heard that. Even the teachers heard that. Just right after school ended, there was this weird sound of like something just fell... But it was too loud for something falling...

What was that?

According to my sources, there's somebody who actually lit up firecrackers... A little too early for Hari Raya, isn't it? I also heard that at the site where the sound was, there was blood... So much for a happy celebration...

Anyway, I'm going to sit for piano exam this THURSDAY!!!!! OMG I'm so nervous... It's like... two more days to the day that will determine my future!!!

I'm so freaking nervous... Please help me pray that it will all go alright... (I really don't want to screw it up this time)

PIANO IDOL 2010 FINALE IN PENANG!!!!!!!

Just came back from Penang from this Piano Idol competition. I got 14th placing!!!! (out of 23 participants for finals) I know you guys want to know more right?? Okay, here goes... Once upon a time...

LOL. It started with a 5 hours journey to Penang Island using GPS. Guess what, I had a free hairdo and makeup from Summer Dale because they're one of the sponsors of the competition.

Here's how I look:

I know, it's so not like me right?? I mean, I have the worst hair in the world... and now...

Whatever. So the finals happened at Auto-City Phase 3, if you know where there is... There's this place called Shop in d' Park. I thought it was indoors. Who knows it was actually outdoors!!! This is so breaking the "tradition" of piano competitions.

Looks like a carnival or pasar malam right?

Then, it rained.

We participants are forced to wait in a tiny tent backstage. And it was hot inside.

Before it's my turn to go up stage, there's this guy before who is freaking good. Call him a madman, perhaps. Looking at his hands jumping around and make complicated melodies... Scary...

My turn. When I got up to the piano, I couldn't believe that it was WET!!! So I wiped it with my hanky. Thanks again to my mum.

When the results are being announced, the rain which originally stopped, came back.

I really pity the announcer when was the only one on stage, and then this wild gust of wind came blowing the hampers and banners towards her... To make it worse, the sounds guy (PA) was playing the dramatic track of Flight of The Bumblebee...

It somehow feels fun to advertise like those ads we hear from radios. Anyway, the dinner night is on the 17th of July, 2010 and it is held in our very own school (SMK USJ 12), not some fancy restaurant where the food are like for people's wedding...

Many of you think "EEEAAHHHHRR, canteen food is so dirty, my grandmother cannot swallow..."... =.= NO!!! It is not canteen food. They are going to find some catering company which is handled by one of the ex-students. So, it's not gonna be that gross.

But then again, the main priority is not food, but the performance. Again, some of you will think "Po Hong also not in the finals!! The judges 'pilih kasih' don't choose Chinese songs"... Hello? Even I got kicked out at the semifinals, that means the finalists are WAY BETTER than us!!! Isn't it much worth it to watch higher quality performances?

So, the tickets are sold at rm30, rm35, rm60 and rm100. Rm100 would be V.I.P. seats and will be located at Dataran Ilmu.

I just cut my hair this evening.

Every time my weight of hair goes of my head, I felt like taking away all the burden that has been there for a month. All the frustration, the bad memories and stuff like that...

Perhaps I'm not used to have more hair. It's somehow irritating.

I'm not gonna show you guys the pic, coz it's plain old simple "my-style" kind of hair.

Anyway, I just heard from the radio on this song called "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain. When I heard it, I thought it will go well with the song "You And Me" by Lifehouse. If you're seeing this, please leave a comment of what you think about this combination.

PAINT YOUR BALLS!!!!!

Sorry, I didn't mean that. I mean paintball. Today was one of the most exciting days of holidays. I mean, everyday I have to do the same lame boring stuff that I do the best... *YAWN*

Come back to the whole point. Well, Jia Wei planned this paintball event for a month already!! We went to this place beside the crocodile farm restaurant (I guess) called TTSport. We (Jia Wei, Kenneth, Kris, Nicholas, Chee Shern, Yee Yang, Qaiyan, Clement, Kwan Loon and me) are the first group to use their court which was set up last Saturday!! All the equipment was NEW and sparklingly clean (which was a bad thing because the reflection of the sunlight caused me unable to target accurately).

The first match, I got hit by Jia Wei IN THE FACE!! The paint burst and went into my mask, and I actually TASTED the yellow, slimmy juice!! Yucks, definitely not their grandmother's cooking recipe.

The second match was okay. None of us (my team) actually got hit...

Third match was crazy. All of my teammates got hit and eliminated. Except for me. The opponent team has Jia Wei and Clement. They got up really, really close to me while I just hid behind a gigantic air pillow. When both of them fired, I can feel the bullets zooming around me by centimeters!! The guys outside asked me to face it and attack forward. So I did. I came straight for Clement, shooting. About 2 meters away, he shot me twice, on my left leg.

Oops, too much flash...

That's better.

But then, though pain, it's still worth playing paintball. Even if it costs RM75.

Run, Run, Run For Your Life!!!

If you didn't know, I was joining the MPSJ - New Strait Times Carnival 10km Run. Well, the picture says it all.

I ran for 7km continuously. Before that, I wondered whether I can handle the pain of running 7km. I mean, I may get 6th for Larian Twelveans, but that was like 3.2km only!! And I never trained since then...
Never mind about that. I finished it with a 100m sprint in the end (because I saw this one guy who was right beside me chasing up, and I very "kia-su").

I always hate the feeling when I'm in the middle of the race and thought about giving up. I mean, it may be natural, but I hoped that I can run all the way instead of walking. In the end, I did it!!

I know, that's so lame. That's so not me..

Well I have totally no idea of my timing or placing. But I'll tell you guys when I know.

I'm skipping swimming tonight, get some rest. HAHA, escaped death from the fingernails of my coach!! But even right now I have some difficulty walking, so perhaps I'll stay in my roller chair all day.

HOLiday Program 2010

I am just back from Sunway University College's HOLiday Programme. Kew Hon, Yee Yang, Jia Cheng and I joined their 'Flash and Fireworks' course and it was fantastic!!!

First, the lecturer taught us basic frame-by-frame motion flash, then to tweening, they also taught us interactive buttons. And lastly, we created our very own personal game!!!How fun was that?

Too bad I can't show it to you guys, I don't know how to put it on this blog.

What I can do is to give you guys a snapshot of the game.

I know, it's kinda lame, but trust me, this requires A LOT OF HARD WORK (hard work copying the program from the projector screen). What I'm trying to portray is a leaf fighting against carbon dioxide with its weird photosynthesis aura jet beam which doesn't make any sense.

After the session, we got home by bus. We (Yee Yang, Kew Hon, Jia Cheng, Jia Wen and me) went on the Sunway shuttle bus. It's for FREE!!! I mean, I can't believe it!! These bus drivers have to take the buses all day around just Bandar Sunway and the Sunway people let us go on it for FREE!!! Then we went to Sunway Pyramid. Jia Wen and Yee Yang got down there and, well I don't know what they did, while Jia Cheng, Kew Hon and I came back to home using Rapid KL.

I never knew that buses could be that fun. All except for the moment when I was standing and saw this black foreign guyin front of me keep staring at me...

Day Two Without Mummy (cont.)

It's been two days since that day, but I'll still share about it with you guys.

Well second day wasn't too bad. I woke up earlier than my bro, so I ate breakfast with my dad at Thiam Kee's at Taipan. Had some same ol' "ching tang" soup noodles.

Lunchtime, my brother suggested we go eat at Nirvana's at USJ 9 Taipan Business Center. What he didn't know is my dad's having a terrible stomach ache since the day before. Well my dad can actually explain nicely and politely refuse my brother's suggestion. Guess what my dad said? "我只能吃粥，我只能吃粥..." "I can only eat porridge"...

No fight at all, so instead we ate at LYG in Taipan. In the end he ordered same pain soup noodles...

Dinner's just the same. We ate at Thiam Kee's AGAIN. And what he ate again? Plain soup noodles AGAIN.

Perhaps he thinks that "ching tang" plain soup noodles is the solution to his stomach ache, but trust me, it'll only get worse this way. The yellow noodles will only intend to stick on his intestines...

Day One Without Mummy

My mum recently went to Chiang Mai for a company trip. So, it's kinda weird thing for my dad to take over things.

At school, 21 of my classmates did not turn up. But we're still better than Browser (they only have like 8 people came!!). But otherwise, everything seems so laggish, like the whole school went on sleep mode...
Back home, as expected, I wouldn't be able to taste my mum's delicious cooking. Instead I got "ta-pao" chicken rice. And my brother was late for his transporter (he checked on a off-timed clock), so my dad have to send him personally.

Another thing my dad was so "proud" of is installing a fluorescent light at the back of my house. It's so glaring!! I bet the neighbors will complain.

At night, I had an injury. It was swimming class and we had a relay. I was too agitated and ran at a slippery corner of the pool. So I fell. But it was just a small scratch to my elbow and waist.

Well that's it for Day 1.

Piano Idol Competition Experience...

I know its kinda long for me not to update this blog, but... just blame it on the exams.

I recently (29 May) participated in a not well known competition called EMPLE Piano Idol Competition at HELP Uni College. Well, the experience was kinda cool because I get to see some of the best pianist in Selangor area... (they're so awesome, when you see them you'll have a chill to your white blood cell!)

When its my turn, the best part was I relaxed (well i usually "kan-chiong" in a lot of small little things). You can see the video on my facebook profile or youtube.

Twelveans Unmasked

Today's the last day to register for Twelveans Unmasked competition. For you guys who don't know what on Mars it is, it's a talent search for singing, band dancing, dueting, playing random talents, rubik's etc... Of course, it's only open to SMK USJ 12 students only.

Back to my point. Today's the last day to register. And I still haven't register for band or solo!! My plan was to join Chee Shern's band as pianist and to join solo category for singing and playing piano (sing and play). At class, me, Kew Hon and Yee Yang discussed about our band's name...

KH: Why not we name it Hoboy.

ME: No... That'll be too much on me, after all Chee Shern's the leader.

KH: Hoboy sounds nice... (look at YY) Why not name the band Ariel...

YY: (Smiling)

So I thought of another name.

T.T - Typical Twelveans

KH: Don't want lah, Hoboy is better...

In the end, I told him to discuss our band name with Chee Shern. After recess, they told me about the group name they came up with...

GEEK

So, the next time you see us (maybe in the finals, where you get to buy tickets), look out for a band named GEEK and support us!!

ADD MATHS IS AWESOME!!!!!!

Seriously, despite the mind-boggling effect it gives every time I think about it, somehow I think I get the hold of it.

Even so, for some of you who didn't know, I am going to sit for ABRSM Theory Grade 8 Examination next two weeks, and it's right after my prefect camp!! No time for revision....

If I get pass, I would be very happy. No aim for distinction or merit, just pass. (Because Grade 8 Theory is so freaking hard!!)

FINALLY IT'S OVER

At the last day of MSSS, like i said, I don't have a relay team. I was left with only 1 final event, which is 200 Breastroke. It is a very tiring event for me. The last time I swam 200 Breastroke (SAG, 4 days ago) I timed at 3.06 minutes. Before that, I'm stuck with 3.13 minutes. Guess what...

WOW!! I seriously did not expect myself to achieve below 3 minutes!! My day was truly enlighten.

Now, enough of swimming.

I still couldn't believe days are passing so fast!! It's a whole new year ahead of us. God knows how much I missed my relatives from Perak, Johor, Taiwan, Australia.... They are all BACK!!!

200 INDIVIDUAL MEDLEY

Second day of MSSS wasn't as bad as the day before.

After 50 Breastroke, which I maintained timing, I waited a long time for my turn again at 200 individual medley. This is my first time joining the event, and God knows I'm nervous. My 200 freestyle was 2.47 but my 200 breastroke was 3.06. Waiting in a room with 2 heats full of tough big guys doesn't help calming myself down either.

In the end, I'm in.

The starting of 50 butterfly wasn't as tiring as I thought, but I really slow-motioned at the 50 backstroke.

And now, I'm officially drained.

But I eventually managed through the breastroke and freestyle, and ended at a time of 3.01!!

With good news, there is also the bad news. I'm not going for relays event. Reason? One of my friend isn't able to swim, because hi parents don't allow him to. He didn't tell us that he didn't ask his parents' permission!!

Never mind about that. I still have 200 breastroke tomorrow. Anyway, I'm coming for school tomorrow in the morning, so expect to see me then!!

THE BIG STEP BACK (BIGGEST SO FAR!!)

MSSS isn't as good as I thought.

Well, not quite at the start. I did 1.07.99 for 100 Freestyle!! Improve 2 sec!! Yeah!!

But things didn't get well at the end of the day. I de-proved my 100 Breastroke by 5 sec at 1.27!! It really sucks this time...

Failures obviously came for some reasons. Here are the activities that led me to this tragic event:

The day before at night, I ate some leftover red-bean raisin bun, which had been exposed to the outside air (not air-tight).

That's mistake no 1.

After my 100 Free, I thought my event is way far away, which I'm right. Then Ken Yue said he wants to go to nearby Tesco. Many of my friends are going. So, I followed.

That's mistake no 2.

At Tesco, the rest of my friends hangout at the mall or walk around for nothing and etc. I instead accompanied Ken Yue to this Briyani rice store because he haven't eat. There, I ordered a Teh Tarik.

And that's the 3rd mistake. Teh Tarik contains milk which will make me sleepy.

But these are just the contributing factors. The main reason is, my big brain.

When I'm in the pool for 100 Breastroke, thoughts flooded into my brain as I remembered what my cousin reminded me of my stroke. Then, I thought about my SAG timing of 1.23, that I want to improve more. I thought about the sweet moments of improving my timing. I thought about the guy next to me, whether he will chase me. I thought about what God is about to show to me.

And so I glided with a fully-packed brain. I glided slowly.

That, in final, is my BIGGEST MISTAKE of all.

I just hope things will change for tomorrow....

SAG 2010!!!!

Yes, there's SAG again!! (Selangor Age Group) It's an event not to be missed by most Selangor swimmers and definitely not me. (Cheh...)

DAY 1 - 5/2/2010

Well, it wasn't that good for my 200m Breastroke and 100m Freestyle, but I improved myself to 3.06m and 1.08m for both events respectively...

DAY 2 - 6/2/2010

Today, things took a little turn for me as I achieved 36s for 50m Breastroke. Yeah!! And in 50m Butterfly I finished at 33s!! These 2 second improvements had brought me closer to my rivals.

I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!

P/S: To Swimmers who achieved better results than mine, don't boast here with your comments and pull me down. I'm not as fast as you guys...

Well, sadly I didn't watch it in 3D. But still it's worth watching.

The whole movie is about this man, Jake Sully whom brother died, took over his brother's job in this other planet. His job is to operate one of the avatar into the wilderness to persuade a group of natives to leave their big home tree to obtain the certain type of ore under it. But then instead of working for the humans, he chose to change sides. Well, the rest you should watch it yourself.

But if you're an anti-fantasies or supernatural stories, then you ought not to watch it.

Otherwise, I say, GO FOR IT!!!

Leaders of Metro Tabernacle Church forgive attackers

PETALING JAYA: Leaders of the Metro Tabernacle Church said they do not harbour any ill-feeling against the culprits who set fire to their church and are thankful that the Government has strongly condemn the arson attack.

The statement of forgiveness is made as Christian groups, lawyers of all faiths and politicians from Sarawak loudly protest against any acts done to throw the country into chaos.

Metro Tabernacle’s senior pastor Rev Ong Sek Leang said the church did not condone such acts but would forgive those responsible.

“We have a congregation of about 1,700 who are Godly and forgiving.

Policemen checking the damage to the administrative office (left) of the Metro Tabernacle Church in Desa Melawati in Kuala Lumpur after it was gutted in an arson attack early Friday morning.

“It is a very sad day for Malaysia but a great day to know that most Malaysians do not think like that,” he said.

The Christian Federation of Malaysia chairman Bishop Ng Moon Hin called on the Government and all peace-loving Malaysians not to give way to extremists wanting to throw the country into chaos.

The National Evangelical Christian Fellowship of Malaysia said these irresponsible actions would be a setback to the Prime Minister’s agenda of 1Malaysia and derail the country’s effort to move out of recession.

Bar Council Malaysia said any display of violence and bigotry against any faith was deplorable — and demonstrated a worrying trend towards extreme disrespect and prejudice.

“We call on the law enforcement agencies to take immediate steps to investigate these incidents and prosecute those responsible to the fullest extent of the law,” said its president Ragunath Kesavan.

The Malaysia Muslim Lawyers Association said it did not condone the act of arson against the churches, but the acts were proof that the usage of the word “Allah” was deemed as sensitive to the Muslim community.

Its president Zainul Rijal Abu Bakar urged the Muslim community to remain calm and not to participate in any act that might jeopardise the efforts of the Government and concerned parties to handle the issue in the best manner.

Kedah Gerakan Youth chief Tan Keng Liang called on the Government to take extra security precaution to protect the churches and all other places of worship.

In Miri, senior Iban leader Datuk Peter Nyarok Entrie said folks in the Land of the Hornbill — where mosques, churches and Chinese and Indian temples were built side-by-side — viewed the misunderstanding among fellow Malaysians living across the South China Sea as very worrying.

Parti Rakyat Sarawak president and state Minister Datuk Seri Dr James Masing said religious bodies of the different faiths should find a mutually acceptable way to resolve this controversy.

Assistant state minister Datuk Daud Abdul Rahman, from the Parti Pesaka Bumiputra Bersatu, said the state government had always practised tolerance and acceptance in handling issues of religious and racial nature.

Parti Keadilan Rakyat Sarawak chairman Baru Bian said the usage of Allah’s name was a non-issue in Sarawak despite the name widely used by all religions in the state for decades.

Second day... Not so bad...

Yeah, just made it through the second day of Form 4.

Today, at least there are more teachers who actually taught us something instead of dilly dally... Lol...

Bio by Pn Radna was quite okay, Pn Hamimah's Add Maths was quite convincing, but Miss Themoli's English was AWESOME!!!!!

Then there comes after recess. All prefects kena stay for meeting, which starts with a spotcheck for everyone. Then it's Pn Teo's turn to talk. Basically she just said about the lacking of quality and commitment of prefects form 4, most of us will go "ai-yoh, eveytime also scold us one!!!". But after some time I realized that, she saying the truth, that we just have to accept it.

Now, let me talk about something else. Just now I just had my 2nd training with my new coach (don't want to say the name). And I just had my first cramp under his training. It's like, a very bad impression to him. Well, I just hope I'll cope with the other trainings...

First day of school... Sienz...

First day of school, class teacher didn't even come in, no monitor, and only two teachers actually taught us something...

Well, the next is this 10+2 subject case, our Datin Suhailah didn't care a single thing, it's like, it's all over the media!! But then she smartly and simply said that was just the media, that she must recieve everything black and white from the education ministry. Let's all wait until March comes when we are about to sit for our first exam... Lol...

Nevertheless, my class didn't change at all, still at Browser. But most of the people in Browser last year are not in here anymore, new faces everywhere. Just hope that I'll get to know them.

But the truth is, the first day of school sucks!! Not sure if it's normal for me, but I just said it. Boredom filled my whole day... Well, the title itself told you that already. Other than that, nothing else.

APYAC 09

Speak to the Nations!!!!!!!!!!!

Apyac 2009 is awesome. They have really great speakers, but the greatest is the spirit for the uphold of God's glory!! People from all over Asia Pacific attended this life-changing event, and greatly worshipped God's name.

But it was extremely tiring.

All three days of the event, I have to wake up early in the morning to catch my friends' transport to Glad Tidings in PJ. There is a break at 4pm, but we did not go back because it is quite a distance. So we stayed around PJ and had dinner there too.

Then there is night revival meeting. I really love their worship and preaching. And the whole event ends at 11pm. Then, I would follow my friend back home. When I reached home and got ready for sleep its already 12.

That's I got ill yesterday. I have headaches throughout afternoon and night, and slight flu-ness. But now I'm all right, that's why I'm able to blog.

Anyway before you go, I would like you to take note of a Christmas play on the 18th and 19th of December 2009. Its titled "Once Lost Now Found" and its prepared by God's Radicle Young People aka GRYP. The play is all about the meaning of Christmas and the bond between family members.

RESTLESS..............

Today is the second day I attend my club's swimming camp, and its so tiring. With mornings and afternoons totally in the camp, I only have the nights to rest and use the computer. Tomorrow is the last day and the worst. We are going to have a close competition within participants. even with the lack of practice during the weeks preparing for PMR, I still manage to keep up a little with my old progress. But I'm still kinda worried for tomorrow...

Tomorrow, too, my classmate friends are going for a movie ---- NEW MOON, and they are watching the first show!! At first I was invited, but then... you know the rest. I have this camp restricting me from my activities, but I don't really want to miss this training.

Well, I'm going to camp and that's final. But, do you think I should go for the camp, or should I just follow my friends for the movie? Comments please!!!

The title I chose for this blog is "Life With A Hoe" because of two reasons. Firstly, of course, is because of my name (Eng Hoe). Secondly, it's because a hoe signifies a tool used for gardening, and there are some hard times and I would like to share them with you all.
